Welcome to the LoveDust Films website (“Website”). This site is operated by LoveDust Films (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a wedding videography and photography studio based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. By accessing or using our Website, including pages you reach from our advertising, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Updates to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Website means you accept those changes.
2. Inquiries, quotes, and bookings
Sending an inquiry through the Website or through a lead form on Meta, TikTok, or Google does not create a booking. Prices shown on the Website are starting prices in US dollars, may change without notice, and are confirmed in the written quote we send you. A quote is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise. A booking is made only when you sign our booking agreement and pay the deposit it describes. The booking agreement governs the service, the deposit, payment schedule, cancellation, rescheduling, delivery, and how your film or photos may be used in our portfolio. If these Terms and a signed booking agreement conflict, the booking agreement wins.
3. AI photography services
Some of our services use artificial intelligence to finish photographs in an illustrated or stylized look. By ordering or requesting these services you confirm that you are at least 18, that you have the right to share the photographs you send us, and that the people shown in them consent to being photographed and to their images being processed for this purpose. Finished images are interpretations: likeness, colors, and details will vary, and we do not guarantee that any image will match a sample. We do not use your photographs to train AI systems. We use them only to deliver your order and, with your written permission, in our own marketing.
4. Communications
When you send an inquiry you agree that we may contact you about it by email and phone. Text messages are sent only if you check the SMS consent box, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party links and platforms
Our Website may include links to other websites and may be reached from advertising on Meta, TikTok, Google, and other platforms. These sites and platforms are not controlled by LoveDust Films, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Links are provided as a convenience and do not imply endorsement.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this Website for any unlawful, harmful, or disruptive purpose. You may not interfere with the operation of the Website, scrape or copy it, or try to access data or systems that are not intentionally made available to you.
7. Communication areas
If the Website includes forums, comment sections, or other interactive spaces (“Communication Areas”), you agree to keep your posts respectful, relevant, and lawful. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, images, videos, code, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to LoveDust Films. Films and photographs shown on the Website appear with the permission of the couples in them. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without written permission.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Website is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee its accuracy or availability. To the fullest extent the law allows, LoveDust Films is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Website, and our total liability arising from the Website is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Liability for services you have booked is governed by your booking agreement.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about the Website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in the San Francisco Bay Area, and you agree to that venue.
